Japanese Used Trucks
Used Trucks from Japan
Trucks are classified into three major categories based on their weight: Light, medium and heavy trucks. Besides these, there are also some trucks that perform heavy duty tasks of moving loads that are oversized or are used in the fields of mining and construction. These trucks fall under a special category of very heavy trucks and transporters as their sheer size makes their use on highways impossible without special permits and escorts.
We deal with all types of Japanese Used Trucks, Used Japanese Cars as well as other commercial vehicles of all major Japanese auto makers such Toyota, Nissan, Hino, Isuzu, Mitsubishi Fuso and Nissan UD Trucks from Japan.
Light trucks include Sport utility vehicles, minivans, pickup vans, panel vans, pickup truck, sedan delivery, canopy express and tow trucks (which are available in light, medium and heavy trucks).
Some medium trucks can also be classified under heavy trucks and comprise of vans, platform trucks, box trucks, flatbed trucks, fire truck, medium standard truck and Motorhome or Recreational Vehicle. Medium trucks are generally used as multi-stop trucks or as delivery trucks.
Mobile cranes and semi-trailer trucks are the only vehicles classified under the head heavy trucks. The following vehicles can fall under either heavy or medium class: garbage trucks, dump trucks, cranes, ballast tractors, cement mixer or concrete transport trucks, tank trucks and refrigerator trucks.
Trucks are distinguishable from the other vehicles due to the following features:
They are primarily used to transport goods, produce and equipment.
They have some common features like the cab, a place to keep the cargo, the chassis, and engine, roadwheels and suspension, axles and a drivetrain.
Trucks also utilize systems like electrical, pneumatic, water and hydraulic and use either automatic or semi-automatic transmission.
Developed economies like USA, UK, Japan are largely dependent on trucking to move produce and goods to their destination to carry on commerce. Various types of trucks are required to carry the different kinds of loads from vegetables to contractor supplies for conducting multiple jobs for various industries.
The tractor trailer is the most commonly used to carry heavy loads. These trucks have 18 wheels with two wheels in the forward axle and four to six wheels on each of the three following axles. These trucks are mainly used for long distance transportation of produce, furniture, dry products as well as fuel and liquids.
Trucks used for certain specific purposes are called specialty trucks. Garbage trucks and dump trucks are used to haul garbage, gravel and dirt. They are equipped with a container with an open top with hydraulic arm extensions to enable them to pick up the haul. For compaction of trash, garbage trucks are also equipped with hydraulic crushing arms. For construction purposes, the workers at site use a specialty truck called the boom truck which has a mounted boom on the bed at the rear the truck cab.
Most commonly used truck is the pick-up truck, with just a flat truck bed behind a cab. These come equipped with only two axles though having a dual-wheel axle on the rear with dual wheels on either side increases its towing power while adding stability. These trucks are used to haul bulky objects and material by contractors commercially.
